CITY OF DECATUR SPECIAL PROVISIONS FOR CRUSHED STONE AGGREGATE AND STONE SPECIAL CONDITIONS: 1. Quantities listed in the bid proposal are estimated. The City reserves the right to increase or decrease the estimated quantities and no adjustment will be made to the Contractor's unit bid price. 2. Materials are to be delivered or provided in the quantities ordered by the City. 3. The minimum quantity ordered will be 20 tons for each material. - 4. Material shall be delivered within one (1)working day of the order date. 6. Deliveries shall be made during the City's regular hours of operation, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except for Holidays, unless otherwise approved by the City's representative requesting the material 6. Materials picked-up by the City shall be available at a location within six (6) miles, one-way, of the City's Municipal Services Center, 2600 North Jasper Street. - 7. The City will award a contract to the successful bidder to provide Crushed Stone Aggregate and Stone to the City beginning January 1, 2022 and ending December 31, 2022. 8. The contract shall terminate at 12:00 p.m. local time, December 31, 2022. BASIS OF AWARD: The City may make its award to: 1. A single contractor to supply all six (6) items if the contractor submits the lowest responsive, responsible proposal for each type of material to the City. 2. A separate contractor for each item for which they submit the lowest responsive, responsible proposal. Maximum number of contracts will be six (6). Multiple contracts for the same item will not be made.
