The City of Decatur will issue a work order on privately-owned violation lots with each job <br /> assignment describing the work to be performed. The work order must be picked up within 24 <br /> hours after notification and completed within five (5) days after receipt. If, after five (5) days, <br /> the work order has not been completed, the work order will be withdrawn and reissued to another <br /> mowing contractor. Failure to perform within five (5) days may be considered a default. The <br /> Contractor will be paid for each work order completed. The Contractor shall not complete the <br /> work if it does not match the description on the work order. The completed work orders shall be <br /> returned to the Neighborhood Inspections Division. <br /> The Contractor will be responsible for placing any large materials and/or debris in a central <br /> location or curbside for clean up by the City of Decatur. The Contractor will notify the <br /> Neighborhood Inspections Division,who will then initiate the appropriate process for removal. <br /> This contract will be governed by the laws of the United States, the State of Illinois and the City <br /> of Decatur, Illinois. <br /> STAFF REFERENCE: Susan Kretsinger at skretsingerAdecaturil.gov or 217-424-2783. <br />
