RESOLUTION NO. R C0.3 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING WEED REMOVAL CONTRACT <br /> -INHERITED SERVICES LLC- <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Decatur solicited bids to hire private contractors to provide weed <br /> removal and mowing services on lots owned by the Macon County Trustee, the City of Decatur <br /> and privately-owned violation lots which have been divided into 12 districts; and, <br /> WHEREAS, District 7 was awarded to Inherited Services LLC; and <br /> WHEREAS, the services provided shall extend to December 31, 2023. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the City of Decatur, Illinois is hereby, authorized and directed to make <br /> payments to Inherited Services LLC,upon receipt of invoice for said weed removal at violation <br /> lots at$85 per mowing in District 7, for an estimated annual cost of$18,360 (Eighteen thousand <br /> three hundred sixty dollars) and for the annual maintenance of District 7 at a cost of$31,920 <br /> (Thirty-one thousand nine hundred twenty dollars). <br /> PRESENTED AND ADOPTED this 4th day of April 2022. <br /> ?6LIE MOORE WOLFE, M YOR <br /> ATTEST: <br /> KIM ALTHOFF, CITY CLElqt <br />
