<br /> SUBJECT: Resolution Authorizing the Execution of Agreements for Demolition of three (3)
<br /> vacant buildings with Hutchins Excavating for 83 S Country Club, 1952 E Prairie,
<br /> and 1553 N Main.
<br /> SUMMARY RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval of the attached resolution
<br /> authorizing execution of agreements for demolition of said dwellings.
<br /> BACKGROUND: The buildings at 83 S Country Club, 1952 E Prairie, and 1553 N Main were
<br /> put out to bid, along with fifteen other properties. These properties were the only demolition
<br /> bids that crossed the threshold for council approval. The other fifteen properties are: 445 N 35th
<br /> St, $11,600.00,Hutchins Excavating; 1060 N Calhoun, $12,950.00, JRH Services; 1682 W
<br /> Center, $8,650.00,JRH Services; 1068 W Cerro Gordo, $11,500.00, Hutchins Excavating; 1320
<br /> E Dickinson Ave, $11,750.00, JRH Services; 855 N Edward, $11,875.00, JRH Services; 551
<br /> Gault, $10,220.00, Clancy Coleman Excavating;411 W Leafland, $15,873.00, Parkland
<br /> Environmental; 749 E Lincoln, $8,200.00, Hutchins Excavating; 1465 E Main, $8,975.00,
<br /> Hutchins Excavating; 1579 N Morgan, $17,450.00, JRH Services; 1626 E North, $16,675.00,
<br /> Parkland Environmental; 2469 E North, $18,700.00, Hutchins Excavating; 2473 E North,
