<br /> SUBJECT: Resolution Authorizing the Execution of Agreements for Demolition of two (2)
<br /> vacant buildings with JRH Services for 1639 N College, and 1415 N Main.
<br /> SUMMARY RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval of the attached resolution
<br /> authorizing execution of agreements for demolition of said dwellings.
<br /> BACKGROUND: The buildings at 1639 N College, and 1415 N Main were put out to bid,
<br /> along with fifteen other properties. These properties were the only demolition bids that crossed
<br /> the threshold for council approval. The other fifteen properties are: 445 N 35th St, $11,600.00,
<br /> Hutchins Excavating; 1060 N Calhoun, $12,950.00, JRH Services; 1682 W Center, $8,650.00,
<br /> JRH Services; 1068 W Cerro Gordo, $11,500.00, Hutchins Excavating; 1320 E Dickinson Ave,
<br /> $11,750.00, JRH Services; 855 N Edward, $11,875.00, JRH Services; 551 Gault, $10,220.00,
<br /> Clancy Coleman Excavating; 411 W Leafland, $15,873.00,Parkland Environmental; 749 E
<br /> Lincoln, $8,200.00, Hutchins Excavating; 1465 E Main, $8,975.00, Hutchins Excavating; 1579
<br /> N Morgan, $17,450.00, JRH Services; 1626 E North, $16,675.00,Parkland Environmental; 2469
