Exhibit A <br /> LAKE DECATUR WATERSHED <br /> PROTECTION PROGRAM AGREEMENT <br /> In consideration of the foregoing recitals, the mutual covenants and agreements <br /> hereinafter set forth,and for good and valuable consideration,the receipt,sufficiency and <br /> adequacy of which are hereby acknowledged, this Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into by <br /> and between Macon County Conservation District ("Owner") and the City of Decatur, <br /> Illinois, an Illinois municipal corporation("City"). The parties agree as follows: <br /> 1. Owner agrees to participate in City's Lake Decatur Watershed Protection("Program") <br /> for soil erosion control,nutrient management and water quality improvements for property they <br /> own located in Macon.County,Illinois more particularly described as <br /> That part of the North %, of Section 7, Township 18 North, Range 4 East of the Third <br /> Principal Meridian, Macon County, Illinois, described as follows: commencing at an <br /> existing railroad spike marking the Northwest corner of said Section 7; thence S. 89 <br /> degrees 2846"E. 1151.00 feet along the North line of said Section 7 to a railroad spike <br /> set marking the point of beginning; thence continuing S 89 degrees 2846"E. 3012.63 <br /> feet along said North line to a railroad spike set; thence S. 0 degrees 25'13" W. 715.55 <br /> feet, thence S 89 degrees 28'43"E. 748.23 feet to an iron pin set,thence S 0 degrees, <br /> 25'13" W. 1010.74 feet to an iron pin set marking the Northeast corner of Lot 7, of <br /> Assessors Subdivision of said Section 7, as per Plat recorded in Book 22, Page 354 of the <br /> Recorders in the Recorder's Ojfce of Macon County, Illinois; thence N. 89 degrees 54' <br /> 27" W 979.32 feet along the North line ofsaid Lot 7 to an existing stone marking the <br /> Northwest corner thereof,- thence N. 89 degrees 21 '28" W 823.00 feet along the North <br /> line of Lo18 of said Assessors Subdivision to the Northwest corner of the East 823.00 feet <br /> of said Lot 8; thence N. 0 degrees 28'33" W. 964.91 feet to an iron pin set; thence N. 45 <br /> degrees 00'00" W 90.00 feet to an iron pin set; thence N. 88 degrees 26'30" W. <br /> 1880.00 feet to an iron pin set, thence N. 0 degrees 2636"E. 670.00 feet to the point of <br /> beginning, containing 90.50 acres, more or less. Said tract of land being subject to the <br /> right of way of Washington Street Road along the North side thereof and referenced on <br /> Survey dated June 7, 2017,prepared by Robert M. Cox, Illinois Professional Land <br /> Surveyor No. 3779. Situated in Macon County, Illinois. <br /> and hereinafter referred to as"Property." <br /> 2. Subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement, Owner shall plan, install and <br /> complete all construction and projects on the Property as set forth in Exhibit 1,attached hereto <br />
