RESOLUTION NO.R2022-10$ <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CITY MANAGER TO PURCHASE PROPERTY <br /> LOCATED AT 822 E DECATUR STREET,AND TWO (2)ADDITIONAL <br /> ADJOINING PARCELS,DECATUR,ILLINOIS <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS: <br /> WHEREAS: the City of Decatur, IL has been acquiring both improved and vacant <br /> properties in the John's Hill neighborhood to enhance neighborhood revitalization goals; and, <br /> WHEREAS: the City of Decatur,IL has made an offer to purchase the single-family <br /> home located at 822 E. Decatur Street(04-12-14-330-033), along with 2 adjoining vacant parcels <br /> (04-12-14-330-034&04-12-14-330-038), all located adjacent to current City owned property in <br /> John's Hill neighborhood; and, <br /> WHEREAS: the City desires to purchase this property through a Real Estate Purchase <br /> Agreement. <br /> NOW THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED: <br /> Section 1. That the City Manager, or designee,is authorized to purchase the properties at <br /> 822 E.Decatur Street(04-12-14-330-033),along with 2 adjoining vacant parcels(04-12-14-330- <br /> 034&04-12-14-330-038), all located in Decatur,IL through a Real Estate Purchase Agreement. <br /> Section 2. That the City Manager,or designee, is authorized to purchase the properties <br /> located at 822 E.
