LETTER to the DECATUR CITY COUNCIL Finance Department DATE: November 28,2022 TO: Honorable Mayor Moore Wolfe and City Council Members FROM: Scot Wrighton,City Manager Gregg Zientara, City Treasurer& Director of Finance SUBJECT: Public Hearing in the Matter of the 2023 Budget Council Action: City Council opens a public hearing for public comment on the proposed budget for the city fiscal year commencing January 1, 2023 and ending December 31, 2023, conduct the public hearing, and upon completion, close the public hearing. Notice of the public hearing was published in the Decatur Herald & Review on November 26, 2022. The budget document has been available for public inspection since November 1, 2022 on the City Web Site and in hard copy form in the City Clerk's and City Treasurer's Office. Council adoption vote of the 2023 budget is scheduled for the Council meeting of December 5, 2022.
