The Agreement is for a maximum <br /> expenditure of$171,500 to be paid out of the City's Local Motor Fuel Tax Fund. <br /> BACKGROUND: <br /> ADM has received quotes from Dunn Company to improve Faries Parkway/Christmas Tree Road that serve as a back way into <br /> their East Plant facility. This work will include the improvement of Christmas Tree Road,south of Reas Bridge Road,a portion of <br /> which is under City jurisdiction. <br /> The City's portion of the work will improve approximately 1,100 feet of Christmas Tree Road as shown on the attached map. The <br /> quote is for a maximum of$171,500. The quote is for a larger area than will be improved so the final cost will likely be between <br /> $140,000 to$150,000. City staff has reviewed the quote and determined that it is very competitive with prices on our current <br /> paving contract. <br /> LEGAL REVIEW: <br /> The Legal Department will be involved in the agreement negotiations with ADM. <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTIONS: None Foreseen <br /> STAFF REFERENCE: Matt Newell,Public Works Director,424-2747.
