TABLE OF ARTICLES 1 INITIAL INFORMATION 2 ARCHITECT'S RESPONSIBILITIES 3 SCOPE OF ARCHITECT'S BASIC SERVICES 4 SUPPLEMENTAL AND ADDITIONAL SERVICES 5 OWNER'S RESPONSIBILITIES 6 COST OF THE WORK 7 COPYRIGHTS AND LICENSES 8 CLAIMS AND DISPUTES 9 TERMINATION OR SUSPENSION 10 MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS 11 COMPENSATION 12 SPECIAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS 13 SCOPE OF THE AGREEMENT ARTICLE 1 INITIAL INFORMATION §1.1 This Agreement is based on the Initial Information set forth below: (State below details of the Project's site andprogram, Owner's contractors and consultants,Architect's consultants, Owner's budget for the Cost of the Work, and other information relevant to the Project.) The city proposes to make major HVAC upgrades install a new roof surface in a manner that will accommodate the later installation of solar panels and other library site improvements Specific project elements include: • Provide design services for re-roofing the library building_ • Provide design services for repairing the masonry planter walls around the perimeter of the building • Provide contracting assistance in replacing or upgrading the building's main chiller. • Services shall include the development of construction documents bidding assistance construction administration,and project closeout services. Following is a more detailed list of professional services that are included under this agreement: • Design Services,including: o Architectural Design o Mechanical Design • Construction Documents,including Specifications • Bidding Assistance • Permitting Assistance • Construction phase services,including: o Progress meetings/site visits o Contractor payment app review o Shop drawing review/supplemental documentation Contractor inquiries/requests for information(RFIs) §1.2 The Owner and Architect may rely on the Initial Information.Both parties,however,recognize that such information may materially change and,in that event,the Owner and the Architect shall appropriately adjust the schedule,the Architect's services and the Architect's compensation.The Owner shall adjust the Owner's budget for Init.
