City Clerk <br /> DATE: 3/30/2023 <br /> MEMO: <br /> TO: Mayor Julie Moore Wolfe <br /> City Council Members <br /> FROM: Scot Wrighton,City Manager <br /> SUBJECT: Resolution Accepting the Bid and Awarding a Contract to Waste Management of Illinois,Inc. for Garbage Service <br /> at City Facilities <br /> SUMMARY RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the proposal from Waste Management for regular collection <br /> and disposal of solid waste via roll-off dumpster containers from various city facilities be approved. <br /> BACKGROUND: This is a routine service for which the city contacts every year. The city bid the services twice in an effort <br /> to get more participation from area haulers;but both times only Waste Management submitted a proposal.
