SA 2271 (a) Vacation of the roadway on both sides of the William Street grade crossing, by the City. (b) Installation of temporary Type-III barricades conforming to the requirements of 92 III. Adm. Code 1535.701 and the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices, on both sides of the vacated William Street crossing, within 24-hours after receipt of a Commission Order approving the closure, by the City. (c) Removal and proper disposal of all existing William Street grade crossing surface material, asphalt approach pavement, and railroad warning devices within the Company's Right-of-Way (ROW), in coordination with the City, and within 90 days after receipt of a Commission Order approving the closure, by the Company. (d) Removal of concrete approach pavement on both sides of the crossing with topsoil replacement and re-seeding, as well as curb and sidewalk extensions, per Exhibit B, Pages 1 and 2), in coordination with the Company, and within 90 days after receipt of a Commission Order approving the closure, by the City. (e) Refund the City, as detailed herein, from the Grade Crossing Protection Fund for completion of the work contemplated and estimated in the attached Exhibit B, by IDOT. (f) Issue the City a Federal Section 130 Closure Incentive Payment, as detailed herein, for completion of the voluntary closure-vacation, by IDOT. (g) Issue the City a Railroad Closure Incentive Payment, as detailed herein, for completion of the voluntary closure-vacation, by the Company. Section 3 The City shall enact a local Ordinance/Resolution vacating William Street on both sides of the crossing, but the final vacation and physical closure of the roadway shall authorizing an incentive d autho payment not take place until a Commission Order has been issue g from the Grade Crossing Protection Fund for the closure-vacation. The City has provided a preliminary construction cost estimate (Exhibit B, Page 3) to accomplish its proposed work, which may be required by Commission Order. The City shall, submit the plans, estimates of cost and any required specifications for the proposed improvements to the Department's District 7 office for approval. The Department shall provide approval or disapproval of the final construction drawings, estimates of cost and any required specifications for the proposed improvements.
