THIS CONTRACT for the personal services of Having a Ball on the engagement described below make this date <br /> between the undersigned Purchaser of Services(herein called "PURCHASER') and the representative listed <br /> below(herein called "PLANNER"). <br /> 2. PURCHASER herby engages PLANNER and PLANNER hereby agrees to perform the engagement hereinafter <br /> provided, upon all terms and conditions herein set forth, including those hereof entitled "Additional Terms and <br /> Conditions." <br /> 3. CONCEPT <br /> Having a Ball proposes an Event Series to take place on the waterfront at Nelson Park. A multiple day event <br /> featuring local artists, music, and water activities will incorporate all aspects of the culture of Decatur in order to <br /> include all of the citizens served by the Decatur Park District and the City of Decatur in celebration of the 100th <br /> Anniversary of Lake Decatur. For the concept to come to fruition, HaB will work with both DPD and City staff to <br /> best utilize their resources as well as actively reach out to local city groups/organizations to draft customized <br /> activities to ensure community engagement. <br /> 4.
