Exhibit A- Supplement 2 <br /> AECOM Team will also prepare proprietary item requests to IDOT for items specified by the City of <br /> Decatur and coordinate with IDOT to obtain approval of the proprietary items. <br /> - Estimate of Time: The AECOM Team will update the suggested Estimate of Time for Phase III <br /> construction activities to reflect the July 2021 letting. The estimate of time is based on the pay items, <br /> quantities, and construction daily production rates. These will be reviewed and updated for the pay <br /> items and quantity revisions identified for this submittal. <br /> Update PS&E to the January 2022 Letting <br /> The AECOM Team will update the contract plan submittal for the January 2022 letting as described below in <br /> further detail. These changes are needed because IDOT released the 2022 IDOT Standard Specifications for <br /> Road and Bridge Construction, where previous letting preparations were based on the 2016 IDOT Standard <br /> Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction. It will also include changes to reflect the 2022 IDOT <br /> Supplemental Specifications: <br /> Plans: The AECOM Team will provide engineering design services required for the preparation of <br /> Construction Documents for the bridge and roadway construction. The AECOM Team will update <br /> the contract plans (142 sheets)for the July 2021 letting. This will include the following items: <br /> o Review of IDOT BDE and BLRS pay items for the January 2022 letting and updating the <br /> pay items and quantities on the SOQ, Schedules, and plan callouts. All pay items will be <br /> compared against the IDOT pay items and the following IDOT pay items will be updated: <br /> ■ Pavement marking pay items will be updated as IDOT changed all these pay items <br /> because these pay items used to be quantified only by marking width and IDOT has <br /> changed the pay items to reflect width and material type <br /> ■ Storm Sewers(water main quality pipe)=name and number changed <br /> ■ Ductile iron water main, 30"=name and number changed <br /> ■ Pipe underdrains for structures, 4"=name and number changed <br /> ■ Pipe Culverts to be cleaned=number changed <br /> ■ Pavement marking removal—grinding=added pay item based on pavement <br /> marking pay item changes <br /> ■ Water main in casing pipe, ductile iron=number changed <br /> ■ Abandon existing force main, fill with CLSM=name and number changed <br /> ■ Sanitary Lateral Relocation=number changed <br /> ■ Remove Abandoned Force Main=number changed <br /> ■ Watermain casing pipe=added because watermain and casing pipe as separate <br /> items per IDOT <br /> ■ Bridge railing detail updated by IDOT <br /> o Coordination with IDOT regarding the creation of Bureau of Local Roads pay item numbers <br /> for the January 2022 letting for eight pay items. <br /> o Addendum to the plans to reflect the lead and asbestos investigation results of the structures <br /> to be demolished, which were not acquired by the City until Fall 2021. <br /> - Specifications:The AECOM Team will update the line item specifications for the January 2022 <br /> letting using IDOT format and to reflect the new 2022 IDOT Standard Specifications for Road and <br /> Bridge Construction. These will include spec updates to add the following special provisions for: <br /> o the building demolition and asbestos pay items <br /> o Cell tower access requirements from Vertical Bridge <br /> o Watermain casing pipe <br /> 5 Supplement 2 05/09/2023 <br />
