RESOLUTION NO. ' �i —1.141 <br /> RESOLUTION TO APPROPRIATE MOTOR FUEL TAX FUNDS <br /> FOR RESTORATION OF STREETS AND HIGHWAYS <br /> BY MUNICIPALITY UNDER THE ILLINOIS HIGHWAY CODE <br /> CITY PROJECT 2023-08,ASPHALT <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That there is hereby appropriated the sum of$1,300,000.00 of State Motor <br /> Fuel Tax funds for the purpose of resurfacing streets and highways under the applicable <br /> provisions of the Illinois Highway Code. <br /> Section 2. That only those streets,highways; and operations as listed and described as <br /> part of the City's Street Restoration Project, are eligible for State Motor Fuel Tax funds and shall <br /> be designated as Section 23-00308-00-FP. <br /> Section 3. That the Clerk shall, as soon as practicable after the close of the period as <br /> given above, submit to the Department of Transportation on forms furnished by said Department, <br /> a certified statement showing expenditures from and balances remaining in the account(s) for <br /> this period; and <br /> Section 4. That the Clerk shall immediately transmit four original certified copies of <br /> BLR 09110 forms, attached hereto as Exhibit A and made a part hereof, and transmit with two <br /> certified copies of this resolution to the district office of the Department of Transportation, at <br /> Effingham, Illinois. <br /> PRESENTED AND ADOPTED this 20°1 day of June 2023. <br /> IE MOOR"F <br /> ATTEST: <br /> KIM ALTHOFF,Cl LERK <br />
