ORDINANCE NO. 2023 - <br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 2022 BUDGET RECONCILIATION <br /> ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS <br /> WHEREAS,on December 6,2021, City Council adopted the Fiscal Year 2022 Budget and <br /> Appropriation Ordinance for the purpose of defraying the expenses of several departments and <br /> funds of the City of Decatur for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2022 and ending December <br /> 31, 2022; and, <br /> WHEREAS, on December 19, 2022 the City Council adopted a budget reconciliation <br /> ordinance further amending the Fiscal Year 2022 Budget; and, <br /> WHEREAS, it is now necessary to further amend the 2022 budget to complete the fiscal <br /> close-out and finalize reconciliation of the fiscal year which ended December 31, 2022; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> DECATUR,ILLINOIS,AS FOLLOWS: <br /> SECTION 1. The following amounts are hereby appropriated for the Fiscal Year ending <br /> December 31, 2022, and set apart within the following designated funds for expenditures, and the <br /> December 2022 Budget Reconciliation Ordinance is accordingly amended as follows: <br /> Fund $ Amount <br /> General Fund 0 <br /> Local Streets & Roads (#42) 155,000 <br /> Fleet Maintenance (#60) 55,000 <br /> Water Capital Fund (#81) 1,225,000 <br /> Police Pension (#91) 625,000 <br /> Total 2,060,000 <br /> SECTION 2.
