Single Source Manufacturer — Your apparatus will be built by Pierce Manufacturing at <br /> their main facilities in Appleton, Wisconsin. <br /> 2. Pierce Manufacturing designs, engineers, and manufacturers their apparatus at their own <br /> facilities in Wisconsin and Florida. The specific Pierce locations are: <br /> a. Chassis—Appleton, Wisconsin and Bradenton, Florida <br /> b. Apparatus Cabs—Appleton, Wisconsin <br /> c. Apparatus Bodies—Appleton, Wisconsin and Bradenton, Florida <br /> d. Waterous Pumps — St. Paul, Minnesota <br /> e. Aerial Ladders & Skybooms —Kewaunee &Appleton, Wisconsin <br /> f. Aerial Torque Box— Kewaunee, Wisconsin <br /> g. Assembly of Apparatus—Appleton & Neenah, Wisconsin and Bradenton, Florida. <br /> 3. The approximate length of the proposed apparatus is 32 feet, 0.00 inches long. <br /> 4. The approximate height of the proposed apparatus is 9 feet, 8.00 inches tall. <br /> 5. Weight Review: The final weight review will be done after the preconstruction conference <br /> when all vehicle changes, modifications, additions, and deletions are finalized. <br /> 6. Apparatus Drawing: A"D" size or 24"x 36"drawing of the reference proposed apparatus <br /> will be supplied. A more detailed drawing will be made for your review if we are favored <br /> with the order. <br /> 7. Inspection trips are included with this proposal as follows: <br /> a. A preconstruction meeting at the Pierce factory in Appleton, Wisconsin for up to <br /> three (3) members of the purchaser is included with this proposal. <br /> b. A final construction inspection meeting at the Pierce factory in Appleton, Wisconsin <br /> for up to three (3) members of the purchaser is included with this proposal <br /> C. A final delivery inspection at the at the MacQueen service facility in Washington, <br /> Illinois for up to three (3) members of the purchaser is included with this proposal. <br /> d. In addition to the inspection trips, weekly photos of your apparatus in production will <br /> be sent to the committee for their review. <br /> 8. Pierce® designs, engineers, and manufactures the complete apparatus in its facilities in <br /> Appleton, Wisconsin and Bradenton, Florida. Pierce® is responsible to ensure all <br /> components of the cab, chassis, body, tank, and pumping system integrate at every level <br /> of the manufacturing process. Unlike some other manufacturers who "out-source" their <br /> chassis or cabs, Pierce® provides a single point of responsibility for warranty and <br /> liability. <br />
