MINUTES OF THE MEETING <br /> OF THE <br /> DECATUR CITY PLAN COMMISSION <br /> Thursday, July 6, 2023 <br /> City Council Chamber, Decatur Civic Center <br /> I. Call to Order and Determination of a Quorum <br /> The July 6, 2023, meeting of the Decatur City Plan Commission was called to order at 3:00 P.M. <br /> in the City Council Chamber, Third Floor of the Decatur Civic Center, by Chairman James <br /> Schwartz who determined a quorum was present. <br /> Members Present: Jason Drake, James Schwartz, Matt Naber, Maurice Payne, Bobby Garner, <br /> Josh Prasun <br /> Members Absent: A.G Webber, Andrew Taylor, Susie Peck, <br /> Staff Present: Greg Crowe, Joselyn Stewart, Kasey Wright, Deanna Buck, Kahlil <br /> Graves-Thomas <br /> H. Approval of Minutes of the June 8, 2023, City Plan Commission Meeting <br /> It was moved and seconded(Maurice Payne/Matt Naber) to approve the minutes of the June 8, <br /> 2023, meeting of the Decatur City Plan Commission. Motion carried. <br /> III. New Business <br /> A. Case No. 23-06 Petition of 121 HOLDINGS,LLC,to rezone the property located at <br /> 4469 COMMERCIAL CROSSING from R-1 Single Family Residence District to M-1 Light <br /> Industrial/Heavy Commercial District. <br /> It was moved and seconded (Maurice Payne /Matt Naber) to forward Case No. 23-06 to the City <br /> Council with a recommendation of approval as set forth in the staff report. <br /> Joselyn Stewart discussed staff's recommendation for approval of the petition based on the staff <br /> report distributed to the Plan Commission prior to the meeting (staff report is on file and is <br /> available for reviewing by request). <br /> There were no questions and no objectors present. <br /> Upon call of the roll, Commission members Jason Drake, James Schwartz, Matt Naber, Maurice <br /> Payne,Bobby Garner, Josh Prasun voted aye. Motion carried. <br />
