Shafer Excavating at 1540 N. Main. <br /> SUMMARY RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval of the attached resolution <br /> authorizing execution of agreements for demolition of said dwellings. <br /> BACKGROUND: The building at 1540 N. Main was put out as a single demolition bid. This <br /> property crossed the threshold for council approval. We received two bids to demolish 1540 N. <br /> Main; S. Shafer Excavating, $38,400.00, and JRH Services, $83,700.00 <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTIONS: No known objections to this resolution. <br /> INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: Jessica Coleman, Purchasing Supervisor; Michael <br /> Snearly, Neighborhood Inspections Manager. <br /> BUDGET/TIME IMPLICATIONS: None <br /> STAFF REFERENCE: Any additional questions may be forwarded to Cordaryl "Pat"Patrick <br /> or Michael Snearly at 217-450-2347 or msnearlygdecaturil.gov . <br />
