Jua3—G <br /> ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY <br /> 2580 SOUTH SHORES DRIVE <br /> WHEREAS, there having been filed with the City Clerk, and by said Clerk presented to <br /> the Council herewith and attached as Exhibit A, the petition under oath of Christa Alexejun Carr and <br /> Michael Carr, requesting that there be annexed to the City territory described as: <br /> LOT TWO (2) OF GRAY'S COVE, AS PER PLAT RECORDED IN BOOK 1832, PAGE 328 OF THE <br /> RECORDS IN THE RECORDER'S OFFICE OF MACON COUNTY, ILLINOIS, EXCEPT A PART OF <br /> SAID LOT LEGALLY DESCRIBED AS: BEGINNING AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF LOT 2, <br /> THENCE EAST 80 FEET, THENCE NORTH 146 FEET, THENCE WEST 80 FEET, THENCE SOUTH <br /> 146 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING. SITUTATED IN MACON COUNTY, ILLINOIS. <br /> PIN# 17-12-25-476-011 <br /> WHEREAS, it appears said petition is signed by the owners of record of all land <br /> within such territory and by at least 51% of the electors residing therein, and that said <br /> territory is contiguous to the City and not within the corporate limits of any city, village or <br /> incorporated town or other municipality, and, <br /> WHEREAS, notice of intention to take action for annexation has been given as <br /> required. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1.
