RESOLUTION NO. R2023 —�1 3 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING REAL ESTATE PURCHASE AGREEMENT INCLUDING THE TRANSFER OF REAL ESTATE -MIRACLE VALLEY INCORPORATED,AN ILLINOIS CORPORATION- -CITY OF DECATUR,ILLINOIS- -901-905 E. WOOD STREET,DECATUR,ILLINOIS- 1921 N. RAILROAD AVENUE WHEREAS, the CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS, an Illinois municipal corporation and body politic("City") is a unit of local government pursuant to Article VII, Section 6 of the Illinois Constitution of 1970; and, WHEREAS,the City desires to purchase the property located at 901-905 East Wood Street per the Real Estate Purchase Agreement; and, WHEREAS, the City desires to transfer the property located at 1921 N. Railroad Avenue per the Real Estate Purchase Agreement. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That the Real Estate Purchase Agreement attached hereto and marked Exhibit A,between Miracle Valley, 901-905 E. Wood Street Decatur, Illinois and the City, 1921 Railroad Avenue shall be executed and approved. Section 2. That the City shall be authorized to purchase 901-905 E. Wood Street, Decatur,Illinois as per the terms and conditions set forth in the Real Estate Purchase Agreement. Section 3. That the City shall transfer the property located at 1921 Railorad Avenue, Decatur, Illinois to Miracle Valley as per the terms and conditions set forth in the Real Estate Purchase Agreement. Section 4. That the City Manager and City Clerk or designees be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to sign any necessary instruments to acquire this property on behalf of the City.
