RESOLUTION NO. R nQ 3 1 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ACTION REGARDING UNSAFE STRUCTURES <br /> 1253 W Green 1743 E Johns 1650 N Main <br /> 675 W Packard 1224 N Van Dyke <br /> WHEREAS,the Council of the City of Decatur, Illinois,has found and does hereby find that <br /> certain structures within the City located on premises at the addresses set forth above,are dangerous and <br /> unsafe, or are uncompleted or abandoned;and <br /> WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the general public health, safety and welfare that said <br /> structures be repaired or demolished. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the officers and employees of the City be, and they are hereby, authorized and <br /> directed to give such notice and to take such actions as may be provided by law, including application for <br /> order of court,to cause said structures to be put in safe condition or,if not so repaired to be demolished. <br /> PRESENTED and ADOPTED this 5th day of February,2024. <br /> "')m'mmloa <br /> �/ Mayor Julie Moore Wolfe <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Kim Althoff, City Clerk <br />
