NOTICE OF INTENT TO ANNEX <br /> PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that pursuant to the Illinois Municipal Code, 65 ILCS 5/7-1-13, <br /> notice is hereby given that the annexation of the surrounded territory described below is <br /> contemplated by the City Council of the City of Decatur, Illinois,and that they propose to consider <br /> and take action on an ordinance annexing such surrounded territory at a regular meeting of the <br /> Decatur City Council on April 1, 2024, at 5:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, #1 Gary K. <br /> Anderson Plaza, Decatur, Illinois. <br /> The territory under consideration consists of 2 tracts of property totaling approximately <br /> 16.44 acres and being more commonly known as Lot North of 4148 E. Faries Parkway (PIN 04- <br /> 13-05-303-008) and Lot West of 4152 E. Faries Parkway (PIN 04-13-05-376-001), is wholly <br /> surrounded by the city of Decatur corporate limits and is legally described as follows: <br /> TRACT A <br /> Commencing 2.45 chains North of the South East Corner of the South West '/4 of <br /> the South West'/4 of Section 5,Township 16 North Range 3 East of the Third P.M., <br /> thence North 6.30 chains, thence West 5 chains, thence South 3.34 chains, thence <br /> East 1.75 chains, thence Southeasterly 4.56 '/2 chains to the place of beginning. <br /> Lot North of 4148 E.
