Grove Road, 17-12-34-100-017; and, <br /> WHEREAS,the area to be annexed is wholly bounded by the City's corporate limits; and, <br /> WHEREAS,the City is authorized to annex the area without a petition pursuant to 65 ILCS <br /> 5/7-1-13. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS, as <br /> follows: <br /> 1. The City Clerk be,and she is hereby,directed to publish a Notice of Intent to Annex <br /> the property described herein at the City Council's regular meeting on April 1, 2024, at 5:30 p.m. <br /> Said Notice of Intent to Annex is attached hereto as Exhibit A and hereby made a part hereof. <br /> 2.
