NOTICE OF INTENT TO ANNEX <br /> PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that pursuant to the Illinois Municipal Code, 65 ILCS 5/7-1-13, <br /> notice is hereby given that the annexation of the surrounded territory described below is <br /> contemplated by the City Council of the City of Decatur,Illinois,and that they propose to consider <br /> and take action on an ordinance annexing such surrounded territory at a regular meeting of the <br /> Decatur City Council on April 1, 2024, at 5:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, #1 Gary K. <br /> Anderson Plaza, Decatur, Illinois. <br /> The territory under consideration consists of 3 tracts of property totaling approximately <br /> 2.44 acres and being more commonly known as 3316 Ferris Drive(PIN 17-12-33-302-001), 1850 <br /> Ferris Drive (PIN 17-12-33-301-002), and 1930 Ferris Drive (PIN 17-12-33-301-001) is wholly <br /> surrounded by the city of Decatur corporate limits and is legally described as follows: <br /> TRACT A <br /> Lot Forty(40) of South Hilltop Subdivision as per Plat recorded in Book 300 Page <br /> 212 of the records in the Recorder's Office of Macon County, Illinois. <br /> 3316 Ferris Drive, Decatur, Illinois (17-12-33-302-001) <br /> TRACT B <br /> All of Lot Twenty (20) and that part of Lot Twenty-One (21) in South Hilltop <br /> Subdivision, as per Plat recorded in Book 300, Page 212 of the records in the <br /> Recorder's Office of Macon County, Illinois, more particularly described as <br /> follows: Commencing at the Northeast corner of Lot 21: thence West 19 feet 4 <br /> inches to a point: thence Southeasterly to the Southwest corner of Lot 20: thence <br /> North 204.9 feet to the point of beginning. <br /> 1850 Ferris Drive, Decatur, Illinois (17-12-33-301-002) <br /> TRACT C <br /> Lot Twenty-One (21) of South Hilltop Subdivision, as per Plat recorded in Book <br /> 300 on Page 212 of the records in the Recorder's Office of Macon County, Illinois; <br /> EXCEPT that part of Lot Twenty-One (21) described as follows: Commencing at <br /> the Northeast corner of Lot Twenty-One (21), thence West 19 feet 4 inches to a <br /> point; thence Southeasterly to the Southeasterly corner of Lot Twenty-One (21), <br /> thence North 204.9 feet to the Pint of Beginning.
