RESOLUTION NO. WH N A RESOLUTION REGARDING VOLUNTARY DISSOLUTION OF DCDF,INC. WHEREAS DCDF, Inc. was incorporated on April 21, 1976, for the purposes of promoting the general health, safety,and welfare and common good of the people of the City of Decatur by bringing about civic betterments or improvements and, WHEREAS DCDF, Inc. had an additional purpose to acquire,hold,develop,and dispose of land or improvements thereto, or both, for, or in connection with public purposes of the City of Decatur,IL; and, WHEREAS DCDF, Inc.intent was to cause, or assist with, or engage in,the development of a viable urban community within said City; and, WHEREAS DCDF, Inc.'s purpose is to make,or cause to be made,non- repayable grants or secured or unsecured loans of money,or either, for the purpose of standardizing or rehabilitating residential structures with Decatur; and, WHEREAS DCDF, Inc.'s purpose is to cause,or assist with,or engage in,the providing of decent housing and a suitable living environment for all citizens of Decatur particularly those of low or moderate income;and, WHEREAS the Board of Directors of DCDF, Inc. passed a resolution on January 22,2024,that it is in the best interest of DCDF Inc.to voluntarily dissolve after many years of accomplishments; and, WHEREAS the members of DCDF,Inc.believe it is in the best interest of DCDF, Inc.,to voluntarily dissolve after many years of accomplishments. NOW,THEREFORE,be it resolved by the members of DCDF,Inc. as follows; Section One. That written notice of this meeting was delivered to each member not less than 5 nor more than 40 days before the meeting date. Section Two. DCDF, Inc. is voluntarily dissolved effective the date of this Resolution. Section Three. That the assets and property be distributed and transferred to the City of Decatur as per the bylaws of DCDF,Inc.
