RESOLUTION NO. R�O��I-off <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A CONTRACT CHANGE ORDER WITH <br /> BURDICK PLUMBING& HEATING CO., INC. FOR WILLIAM STREET PUMP <br /> STATION IMPROVEMENTS CITY PROJECT 2022-17 <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the Contract between Burdick Plumbing and Heating, Co., Inc. and the <br /> be, and the same is hereby, modified and amended to authorize Change Order No. 1, attached <br /> hereto as Exhibit A, in the amount of$69,767.83; and a not-to-exceed project cost of <br /> $876,271.83. <br /> Section 2. That the Mayor and City Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized and <br /> directed to execute said Change Order No. 1, on behalf of the City of Decatur. <br /> Section 3. That the changes in the above-described contract are germane to said Contract, <br /> as signed, and said Change Order is in the best interest of the City of Decatur and is authorized <br /> by law. <br /> Section 4. That the Director of Public Works hereby certifies that the additional work was <br /> not foreseeable at the time said Contract was bid and let. <br /> PRESENTED and ADOPTED this 1St day of April 2024. <br /> Julie Moore Wolfe, Mayo <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Kim L.
