<br /> Kim Casner states that she gave notice of the pending action to be taken on an Ordinance
<br /> annexing certain surrounded territory lying within the Long Creek Fire Protection District, and to
<br /> the Corporate Authorities of the County of Macon, Illinois, in compliance with the provisions of
<br /> Section 5/7-1-1 et. sem_of the Municipal Code of the State of Illinois, as amended(65 ILCS 5/7-
<br /> 1-1 et. sec ),by sending notice by certified mail,postage paid to each of the Trustees of the Long
<br /> Creek Fire Protection District, and the Board Members of the Macon County, Illinois Board, as
<br /> set forth below. All notices were mailed on the 5t'day of March,2024,by this Affiant,at Decatur,
<br /> Illinois, being more than ten(10) days prior to the time stated in said Notice as the time at which
<br /> the City Council of the City of Decatur, Illinois would take action on the proposed Ordinance
<br /> Annexing Surrounded Territory.
