WHEREAS, notice of intention to take action for annexation has been given as <br /> required. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That said petition and the request thereof be, and the same are hereby, <br /> approved. <br /> Section 2. That said territory hereinabove described, along with all parts of public <br /> highways therein or next and adjacent thereto not heretofore annexed, if any, be, and the <br /> same are hereby, annexed to and are incorporated into the limits of the City of Decatur, <br /> Illinois, a municipal corporation. <br /> Section 3. That a plat of said annexed premises is attached hereto as Exhibit B and <br /> hereby made a part hereof. <br /> Section 4.
