Refunding Bonds <br /> 2014 Bonds <br /> 2015 Bonds <br /> B. The following words and terms are defined as set forth. <br /> "Act"means,collectively,the Illinois Municipal Code, as supplemented and amended,the <br /> home rule powers of the City under Section 6 of Article VII of the Illinois Constitution of 1970 <br /> and the Enabling Ordinance adopted pursuant to such home rule powers; and, in the event of <br /> conflict between the provisions of said code and home rule powers,the home rule powers shall be <br /> deemed to supersede the provisions of said code. <br /> "Bond" or "Bonds" means one or more, as applicable, of the not to exceed $36,800,000 <br /> General Obligation Bonds, Series 2024, authorized to be issued by this Ordinance. <br /> "Bond Fund" means the Bond Fund established and defined in Section 15 of this <br /> Ordinance. <br /> "Bond Notification" means the Bond Notification as authorized to be executed by the <br /> Designated Officials of the City in Section 14 of this Ordinance and by which the final terms of <br /> the Bonds will be established. <br /> "Bond Register" means the books of the City kept by the Bond Registrar to evidence the <br /> registration and transfer of the Bonds. <br /> "Bond Registrar" means the bond registrar for the Bonds, which shall be a bank or trust <br /> company with a corporate trust office located in the State of Illinois or Indiana(as set forth in the <br /> Bond Notification), or a successor thereto or a successor designated as Bond Registrar hereunder. <br /> "City Clerk"means the City Clerk of the City. <br /> "Code"means the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended. <br /> "County Clerk"means the County Clerk of The County of Macon, Illinois. <br /> -5- <br />
