CITY OF DECATUR <br /> Section No.: 09-00933-01-BR <br /> Job No.: R-97-006-19 <br /> Amendment#3 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AMENDMENT#3 TO THE LOCAL PUBLIC AGENCY <br /> AGREEMENT FOR FEDERAL PARTICIPATION FOR UTILITY ADJUSTMENTS FOR <br /> THE IMPROVEMENT OF BRUSH COLLEGE ROAD OVER FARIES PARKWAY AND <br /> THE NORFOLK SOUTHERN RAILROAD TRACKS <br /> CITY PROJECT 2009-33 <br /> SECTION 09-00933-01-BR <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Decatur endeavors to improve a segment of Brush College Road by <br /> construction of a grade separation at Faries Parkway, that is approximately 0.01 miles in length and <br /> known to the Illinois Department of Transportation as MFT Section Number 09-00933-01-BR and <br /> State Job Number R-97-006-19. <br /> WHEREAS, the cost of said improvement has necessitated the use of federal funds, and; <br /> WHEREAS, the federal fund source requires a match of local funds, and; <br /> WHEREAS, the use of federal funds requires a joint funding AGREEMENT with the <br /> Department of Transportation. <br /> NOW THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the City Council of the City of Decatur, Illinois authorizes Amendment#3 to <br /> the Local Public Agency Agreement for an additional One Hundred Eighty-Two Thousand,Eight <br /> Hundred Fifteen Dollars($182,815) in Grade Crossing Protection Funds for utility adjustment costs <br /> for the aforementioned project known as Section Number 09-00933-01-BR. <br /> Section 2. That the Mayor and City Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to <br /> execute the above-mentioned Amendment#3 to the Local Public Agency Agreement for Federal <br /> Participation and any other such documents related to the advancement and completion of said <br /> project, hereto attached as Exhibit A. <br /> PRESENTED and ADOPTED this 17`t'day of June 2024. <br /> IE MOORE WOLFE,MA <br /> ATTEST: <br /> KIM ALTHOFF, CITY CLERK <br />
