RESOLUTION NO. '63 <br /> RESOLUTION TO APPROPRIATE MOTOR FUEL TAX FUNDS <br /> FOR LOCAL PUBLIC AGENCY GENERAL MAINTENANCE <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That there is hereby appropriated the sum of$700,000.00 of Motor Fuel Tax funds <br /> for the purpose of traffic signal maintenance, the purchase of concrete for street maintenance, the <br /> purchase of road salt, the purchase of asphalt for street maintenance, and traffic signal cabinet <br /> maintenance for the City of Decatur, Illinois, from January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2024. <br /> Section 2. That traffic signal maintenance, the purchase of concrete for street maintenance, <br /> the purchase of road salt, the purchase of asphalt for street maintenance, traffic signal cabinet <br /> maintenance and operations as listed and described on the Municipal Estimate of Maintenance Costs, <br /> including supplemental or revised estimates approved in connection with this resolution, are eligible <br /> for maintenance with Motor Fuel Tax funds during the period as specified above. <br /> Section 3. That the Clerk shall, as soon as three (3) months after the close of the period as <br /> given above, submit to the Department of Transportation on forms furnished by said Department, a <br /> certified statement showing expenditures from and balances remaining in the account(s) for this <br /> period; and <br /> Section 4. That the Mayor shall execute, and the Clerk shall immediately transmit two <br /> certified copies of original BLR 14222 forms, attached hereto as Exhibit A and made a part hereof, <br /> and transmit with two certified copies of this resolution to the district office of the Department of <br /> Transportation, at Effingham, Illinois. <br /> PRESENTED and ADOPTED this 19`h day of August 2024. <br /> L�Aet,Wwll e t"( <br /> JUL OORE WOLFE, MAYOR <br /> ATTEST: <br /> rn� � <br /> KIM ALTHOFF, CIT ERK <br />
