Vulcan Watermine Pipeline <br /> City Project 2022-22 <br /> September 20, 2024 <br /> ' ADDENDUM NO. 5 <br /> TO PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS AND CONTRACT DOCUMENTS FOR: <br /> VULCAN WATERMINE PIPELINE <br /> CITY PROJECT 2022-22 <br /> DATED MAY 2024 <br /> ' AD-5-1 NOTICE <br /> 1.01 This Addendum No. 5 dated September 20, 2024,to the Plans, <br /> Specifications and Contract Documents for the above captioned <br /> project, supersedes all contrary and conflicting information of the <br /> above-mentioned bid proposal documents, which are hereby <br /> supplemented in certain particulars as follows: <br /> ' AD-5-2 ADDITIONAL SITE INVESTIGATION REPORTS <br /> 2.01 The City has contracted with SKS Engineers for geotechnical borings <br /> ' and a hydraulic fracture analysis related to horizontal directional <br /> drilling under the Sangamon River for the project. Two reports are <br /> included with this Addendum: 1. Geotechnical Exploration and <br /> ' Foundation Investigation New Vulcan Waterline Pipeline, August 22, <br /> 2024, and 2.Memo, Hydrofracture Analysis—Maximum Allowable <br /> Drilling Fluid Pressures, September 17, 2024. <br /> AD-5-3 DRAWINGS <br /> ' 3.01 Replace the sheets listed below with the drawing sheets included <br /> with this Addendum. <br /> 3.02 Sheet 1 Cover Sheet.Modify Table of Contents to add Detail H to <br /> Sheet 3.9 description. Revision 19/20/2024. <br /> 3.03 Sheet 3.5. Adjusted location and added manhole on existing sewer <br /> ' line. Added Keyed Note 4 requiring contractor to perform post <br /> construction video of existing sewer line. Modified Keyed Note 2 to <br /> note lump sum payment on exploratory excavation, Work Item 31. <br /> Price for traffic control, road cut and payment repair for this <br /> excavation are covered in Work Items 3, 4, and 22. This is a larger <br /> and separate exploratory excavation than Work Item 2. Revision 1 <br /> ' 9/20/2024. <br /> 3.04 Sheet 3.6. Replaced Cross-section profile A-A' to provide additional <br /> information on boring depth. Revision 19/20/2024. <br /> 3.05 Sheet 3.9. Adjusted location of existing 60" sewer line. Lowered <br /> new 14"HDPE water line at the connection point. Added Detail H <br /> which shows adding a vertical offset to the existing 18"waterline to <br /> allow room for new 14"HDPE waterline.
