Anderson Plaza, <br /> Decatur, Illinois, 62523, until JUNE 20TH 2024 AT 10:00 AM and thereafter publicly opened <br /> and read. <br /> DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT: <br /> The proposed improvement is officially known as: <br /> VULCAN WATERMINE PIPELINE <br /> CITY PROJECT 2022-22 <br /> The proposed project herein specified and described includes the following work: <br /> The project consists of installing a 14-inch HDPE raw water line that connects an existing 12" Cast <br /> Iron Pipe (CIP) near the Vulcan Pit to an existing 24" CIP water line near the raw water pumping <br /> station. Work will require Horizontal Directional Drilling(HDD) under the Sangamon River. Work <br /> will also include installation of instrumentation for pump operation and flow monitoring. <br /> INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS: <br /> 1. TWO (2) OPTIONAL PRE-BID MEETINGS will be provided for bidders. The <br /> first meeting will be held by CONFERENCE CALL ONLY on Wednesday, May 29, <br /> 2024 at 10:00 am. In addition to project questions, the opportunity will be provided to <br /> discuss the City's minority participation goals. The second optional pre-bid meeting will be held on site, tentatively <br /> on Thursday, May 30, 2024 at 10:00 am.
