RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AGREEMENT WITH U.S. <br /> DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT (HUD) <br /> HOME INVESTMENT PARTNERSHIP FUNDS (HOME) FY2024 <br /> WHEREAS the City of Decatur desires to continue our partnership with U.S. <br /> Department of Housing and Urban Development(HUD)to bring funding to our community and; <br /> WHEREAS the City has provided millions of dollars to low and moderate-income <br /> residents and expanded opportunities for these same residents and; <br /> WHEREAS the Mayor and City Council agree, accepting these grants are in the best <br /> interests of the City of Decatur. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> DECATUR,ILLINOIS; <br /> Section 1. That the allocation of$372,081.63 in HOME funds as outlined in the FY24 <br /> Action Plan be, herby approved, adopted and placed on file. <br /> Section 2. That the Mayor, City Manager, and/or the City Clerk, are hereby recognized <br /> and directed to sign, seal and attest said grant agreement related to funds received on behalf of <br /> the City of Decatur. <br /> Section 3. That the Economic & Community Development Director and/or the Asst. <br /> Director, are hereby recognized to sign, seal and attest said agreement, environmental reviews, <br /> expenditures, and other documents related to funds received from HUD on behalf of the City of <br /> Decatur. <br /> PRESENTED AND ADOPTED this November 18, 2024. <br /> JULIE MOORE-WOLFE, 4AYOR <br /> T: <br /> CITY CLERK <br />
