RESOLUTION NO. *0 3?9_ 0 CD ) RESOLUTION SCHEDULING PUBLIC HEARING FOR PROPOSED ANNEXATION AGREEMENT LOCATED GENERALLY NORTH OF I-72 AND WEST OF STATE ROUTE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS. Section 1. That pursuant to 65 ILCS 5111-15.1-1 et seq. a public hearing is hereby scheduled upon a proposed annexation agreement between the City of Decatur and the owner of the property described below, said public hearing being scheduled before this Council on February 18, 2025, at 5:30 P.M. in the City Council Chambers: Part of Lot One (1) of Tiedmann Addition, as per plat recorded in Book 1832, Page 662 of the Records in the Recorder's Office of Macon County, Illinois. Situated in Macon County, Illinois. Said part described as follows: Beginning at a point, said point being the South corner of said Lot 1 of Tiedmann Addition;thence N 01 degree 10' 44"W to the Southwest corner of Lot 2 of Tiedmann Addition, 841.11 feet; thence N 88 degree 49' 16" E to a point on the West Right of Way line of the Illinois Central Gulf Railroad, 686.75 feet; thence S 38 degree 03' 08" W along the West Right of Way line of the Illinois Central Gulf Railroad, 1,085.86 feet to the point of beginning. EXCEPT that part conveyed to Rising Star Properties by Warranty Deed recorded in Book 3936, Page 632 as Document No. 1762016. Situated in Macon County, Illinois. AND Lot Two (2) of Tiedmann Addition, as per Plat Recorded in Book 1832 Page 662 of the Records in the Recorder's Office of Macon County, Illinois. Situated in Macon County Illinois, except the East 50 feet thereof. Section 2. That the City Clerk be, and she is hereby, directed to cause notice of said public hearing to be published as provided by law.
