Patrick, Director of Economic& Community Development <br /> SUBJECT: Resolution Receiving and Filing Annexation Agreement-McLeod Properties, LLC <br /> Resolution Scheduling Public Hearing-Annexation Agreement <br /> RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends that the attached annexation agreement be received <br /> and placed on file and scheduled for publication. The agreement is scheduled for final action at <br /> the February 21, 2025, City Council meeting. <br /> BACKGROUND: This annexation agreement with McLeod Properties, LLC positions the City <br /> of Decatur to annex two parcels, generally located North of I-72 and West of State Route 48 into <br /> the city to further grow its economic development opportunities and serve the best interest of the <br /> City. The agreement also caps McLeod Properties, LLC permit fees at$50,000 for a 611,000 <br /> square foot warehouse development located at 3960 East Mound Road. <br /> ATTACHMENTS: Annexation agreement and resolutions. <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTIONS: Staff is not aware of objections. <br /> INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: None. <br /> STAFF REFERENCE: Should the City Council have any questions,they may contact Cordaryl <br /> M.
