T Presented by <br /> A FUNOIAISFR FOR HOPE l5333 ir r,ffm <br /> ��I w <br /> FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE <br /> Sept 09, 2025 <br /> A new street fest is coming to Downtown Decatur with the aim <br /> of providing fun while fundraising for Huntington's Disease <br /> (DECATUR, Illinois) — Saturday, October 18th is set for the Downtown Decatur Fall Family Festival, <br /> presented by Coney McKane's, Jimmy John's, The Original Del's Popcorn Shop, and CM Catering. The <br /> event will run 10am-4pm and cover Merchant Street and Prairie Avenue. <br /> Families will indeed have plenty to do with activities, games, an obstacle course, and the Boy Scouts' <br /> S.T.E.M. trailer presented on Merchant. Kona Ice will be on hand for treats along with fare from <br /> participating downtown businesses. <br /> On Prairie, organizers will feature fun for the 21 and up crowd with an amateur bags tournament and a <br /> putting green for prizes. There will also be a beer garden overseen by the Decatur Area Arts Council, <br /> whose own Decatur Craft Beer Festival returns in 2026. <br /> A stage will play to both streets. Local music acts will be featured alongside a set from up-and-coming <br /> country artist Ryan Mundy,who has a show later that night at Bloomington's Six Strings Club. <br /> The festival doubles as a fundraiser for the Central Illinois Team Hope, which supports those affected by <br /> Huntington's Disease through the Huntington's Disease Society of America (HDSA).
