RESOLUTION NO. R2025- 4t90 <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID AND AUTHORIZING THE <br /> EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT WITH PRECISION PRO LLC FOR THE <br /> RESIDENTIAL EXTERIOR IMPROVEMENTS AT 924 W. WOOD ST. <br /> WHEREAS,the City of Decatur("the City")has created a Residential Exterior <br /> Improvement Program(the"Program") for owner occupied housing improvements; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the Program's eligible improvements include items such as roofing, siding, <br /> gutters, gutter guards, soffit, fascia,window wrapping, brush removal and fence repair;and, <br /> WHEREAS, the invitation to bid was provided to those contractors that explicitly <br /> expressed interest to the Economic and Community Development Department; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the City will expend Five Hundred Ninety-Eight Thousand Three Hundred <br /> Sixty-One and 00/100 Dollars($598,361.00)and a Fifteen(15)percent contingency for the <br /> improvements of eleven(11)housing units. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF DECATUR,ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the Tabulation of bids received for the project located at 924 W. Wood <br /> St., and presented to the Council herewith,be received and placed on file. <br /> Section 2. That the bid of Precision Pro LLC, in the amount of Fifty-Nine Thousand <br /> Nine Hundred Twenty-Five and 00/100 Dollars ($59,925.00) along with a Fifteen (15) percent <br /> contingency be accepted, and an agreement awarded accordingly. <br /> Section 3. That the City Manager or his designee be, and they are hereby, authorized and <br /> directed to execute an agreement between the City of Decatur, Illinois, and Precision Pro LLC, <br /> attached hereto as Exhibit A and made part hereof. <br /> PRESENTED and ADOPTED this 15`h day of September, 2025. <br /> ,Julie Moore Wolfe, Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> • im Althoff,City Clerk <br />
