EX.B <br /> LLLD WORK AND REPAIRS <br /> 1 Window blinds— <br /> Install Window blinds in compliance with license and DCFS requirements. <br /> 2. Surveillance— <br /> Install surveillance equipment in compliance with license and DCFS requirements. <br /> 3. Interior Painting— <br /> Paint interior to meet any license requirements and LLD's determination. <br /> 4. Door hardware— <br /> Replace door hardware in compliance meet local,state and federal codes including ADA <br /> accessibility codes. <br /> 5. Playground equipment— <br /> Install,repair and/or upgrade playground equipment in compliance with local,state,and <br /> federal codes including license and DCFS requirements. <br /> 6. Landscaping— <br /> Landscaping to be completed to meet all applicable codes including license,DCFS and <br /> ADA requirements. <br /> 7. Lead Remediation and Testing— <br /> Water samples will be drawn from every water source used for drinking and cooking <br /> water used for childcare operations. Faucets/fixtures to be sampled include,but are not <br /> limited to,kitchen sinks,bathroom sinks,classroom sinks,drinking fountains,bubblers, <br /> and refrigerator or freezer water/ice dispensers. These samples will be sent to the Illinois <br /> Environmental Protection Agency(IEPA)lab or an IEPA certified independent lab. A <br /> certificate must be obtained acknowledging there are acceptable levels of lead from all <br /> samples. If this certification cannot be obtained,additional remediation or acceptable <br /> alternatives will continue as needed until the required certification can be obtained. <br /> 9 <br />
