RESOLUTION NO.R2025—1-12- <br /> RESOLUTION ESTIMATING AMOUNTS NECESSARY <br /> TO BE RAISED BY THE 2025 PROPERTY TAX LEVY <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR,ILLINOIS: <br /> SECTION 1. That the attached Exhibit A are the amounts of money estimated to be <br /> raised by taxation upon taxable property in the City of Decatur, for the 2025 Assessed Value <br /> with property tax billed to property owners in 2026 and payable in 2026. <br /> SECTION 2. That the City Council was informed by the City Manager at the Council <br /> Meeting on November 3, 2025 of the amounts of money estimated to be raised by taxation upon <br /> taxable property in the City of Decatur, for the 2025 Assessed Value with property tax billed to <br /> property owners in 2026 and payable in 2026. <br /> SECTION 3.That notice of a public hearing to be held at the City Council meeting of <br /> December 1,2025 in the city council chamber of the Decatur Civic Center will be published in <br /> the public media on November 23,2025, and that the Tax Levy will be presented to the City of <br /> Decatur City Council for approval at the December 1,2025 meeting of the City Council. <br /> PRESENTED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of November 2025. <br /> ( „ <br /> ulie Moore Wolfe,Mayor <br /> Attest: <br /> Kim Al hoff, City Clerk <br />
