SECTION C-EXCLUSIONS
9. All waste generated by Bodine Electric will be disposed of in dumpsters provided by the site
owner or general contractor. Unless explicitly called out for in the scope of work, Bodine has
excluded all work and cost associated with removal, disposal or abatement of any
contaminated spoils or material.
10. This proposal does not include any utility costs.
11. All costs associated with permit(s)are excluded from this proposal.
12. Bodine Electric of Decatur will require a tax-exempt certificate for any project that is
awarded as such before executing a contract.
13. Costs associated with site layout/surveying are excluded from this proposal.
14. This proposal does not include any work related to temperature controls, including any
conduit, wire or devices related to such controls.
15. Corrections to pre-existing code violations are not included in this proposal.
16. Patching, painting and firestopping are excluded from this proposal.
SECTION D-OTHER CONDITIONS
Costs for premium wages are not included in this proposal. Our standard working hours are 7 a.m.to
3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday excluding holidays.
This quotation is based upon the understanding that Electrical Service Company has necessarily assumed
certain conditions to arrive at its best estimate for performing the work. In the event actual conditions
significantly vary from our assumptions, then a fair adjustment to the price is expected. These include:
7. Physical conditions significantly different from what could be determined from a reasonable
inspection of the worksite and/or information supplied by customer.
8. The correctness and completeness of the contract documents are the sole responsibility of those who
have prepared them. This proposal covers only that work that is adequately shown, described and/or
detailed in the provided contract documents.
9. Inability to start work and have reasonably uninterrupted access to Electrical Service Company's
work until completed.
10. Reasonably prompt resolution of any questions that may arise in the course of the work,
including any necessary approvals by the customer or its agents.
11. Standard insurance coverage currently in effect at the time of submission. All non-standard
insurance requirements shall be waived,or the direct cost paid by the requestor.
12. Due to the volatility of the commodities market, this proposal will be held firm until the date specified
on Page 1 of this document.
NOTICE:THIS PROPOSAL IS CONTINGENT ON A LACK OF IMPACT BY ANY PANDEMIC OR NATIONAL
EMERGENCY. Given
the existence of any pandemic or national emergency, Electrical Service Company will use its best efforts to
staff and supply this project to meet the scheduled completion date. However, Electrical Service Company
reserves its right to seek an excusable extension of time if Electrical Service Company or its suppliers are
unable to maintain planned crew sizes or procure materials or equipment due to effects of the pandemic or
emergency;supply shortages;or governmental restraints/mandates on business,travel and/or assembly.To
the extent that the project is suspended, Electrical Service Company will intend to seek additional costs
associated with the suspension.
It is recognized and agreed that should the City of Decatur mandate that Electrical Service
Company's employees, staff or suppliers be vaccinated and/or be subject to other testing or procedural
requirements—and such mandate adversely affects Electrical Service Company's ability to meet the
project schedule because Electrical Service Company cannot properly staff the project as originally
