ORDINANCE NO. :)O -7G <br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING CITY CODE <br /> - CHAPTER 70- <br /> - PROPERY MAINTENANCE CODE— <br /> BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That Section 7 Chapter 70 of the City Code of the City of <br /> Decatur, Illinois, be, and is hereby modified and amended by adding new section <br /> (b) thereto, so that Section 7 as so modified and amended, shall provide as <br /> follows: <br /> 7. AMENDMENTS. The following numbered sections in said Code are <br /> hereby modified and amended as herein indicated: <br /> (a) 101.1 by inserting the words "City of Decatur, Illinois" <br /> for the name of the jurisdiction. <br /> (b) 105.3 by replacing first sentence as follows "Where it is <br /> necessary to make an inspection to enforce the provisions of this <br /> code, or whenever the code official or designee has reasonable cause <br /> to believe that there exists in a structure or upon a premises a <br /> condition in violation of this code, the code official or designee is <br /> authorized to enter the structure or premises at reasonable times to <br /> inspect or perform the duties imposed by this code." <br /> (c) 111.4.1 by removing subparagraph 6. <br /> (d) 111.4.2 by adding the words "or the address listed in the <br /> Macon County Tax Assessor's Office for receipt of the property tax <br /> bill for the property"before the semi-colon in section 111.4.2(2) <br /> (e) 111.2 by removing the last portion of the last sentence <br /> and replacing as follows "It shall be unlawful for the owner of a <br /> structure havingbeengiven notice as herein provided to fail to close <br /> the structure". <br /> (f) 111.7 by replacing as follows "Placarding: After <br /> determination by the code official or his representative that a <br />
