RESOLUTION NO. R2025-307 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORZING HOME INVESTMENT PARTNERSHIP <br /> FUNDS FOR THE REDEVELOPMENT OF GARFIELD SCHOOL <br /> WHEREAS, the City approved Resolution R2023-19 authorizing the use of$375,000 of <br /> American Rescue Plan Act funds and$300,000 of HOME Investment Partnership funds for the <br /> Garfield School Redevelopment project; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the City no longer has American Rescue Plan Act funds to available to <br /> commit to this project; and, <br /> WHEREAS,the City of Decatur remains committed to advancing the Garfield School <br /> Redevelopment Project,which aligns with the City's Consolidated Plan. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the City hereby commits $675,000 of HOME Investment Partnership <br /> funds to the Garfield School Redevelopment Project. <br /> Section 2.
