NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. The City Council hereby adopts this Inducement Resolution to express its <br /> official intent to evaluate,negotiate,and consider financial incentives or other redevelopment tools <br /> permitted under Illinois law for the benefit of the Treasury hotel project proposed by Decatur <br /> Management Services, LLC. <br /> Section 2. Nothing in this Resolution shall be construed as a binding commitment by the <br /> City of Decatur to provide financial assistance, approve incentives, or enter into a Redevelopment <br /> Agreement. Any final agreement shall require a separate vote of the City Council. <br /> Section 3. City staff are hereby authorized and directed to negotiate the terms of a <br /> Redevelopment Agreement for presentation to the City Council at a future meeting. <br /> Section 4.
