Resolution awarding a contract for the State of Illinois Joint Purchasing Agreement amount of$196,164.00 <br /> to Sutton Ford Inc. for the Purchase of Four(4) 2026 Ford Explorer Police Interceptor Vehicles. <br /> 2. Resolution awarding a contract for the State of Illinois Joint Purchasing Agreement amount of$75,442.20 <br /> to Federal Signal Corporation for the upfit of Four(4)Police vehicles. <br /> 3. Resolution accepting the bid of$23,224.00 from CDS Office Technologies for the Purchase of Four(4) Sets <br /> of Computer Equipment for Police Vehicles. <br /> BACKGROUND: <br /> The City of Decatur Police Department has requested Four(4) 2026 Ford Explorer Police Interceptor <br /> Vehicles to replace old units due to mileage and condition. <br /> The vehicles being replaced are: <br /> Unit 870 a 2017 Ford Interceptor with 137,567 miles. <br /> Unit 865 a 2017 Ford Interceptor with 143,769 miles. <br /> Unit 882 a 2019 Ford Interceptor with 148,012 miles. <br /> Unit 832 a 2019 Ford Interceptor with 131,957 miles. <br /> The four vehicles will be sent to Federal Signal Corporation for upfit. <br /> The bid from CDS Office Technologies was furnished by the IT department to align with their specifications for <br /> the police vehicles. <br /> The replacement vehicles are estimated to be delivered in August 2026. <br /> DISPOSAL OF REPLACED UNITS: The replaced vehicles will be sold or auctioned after the new vehicles <br /> are put in service. <br /> LEGAL REVIEW: There are no contracts for Legal to review. <br />
