EXHIBIT A <br /> LAKE DECATUR WATERSHED FARMLAND CONSERVATION PROGRAM <br /> PROTECTION PROGRAM AGREEMENT <br /> In consideration of the foregoing recitals,the mutual covenants and agreements hereinafter <br /> set forth,and for good and valuable consideration,the receipt,sufficiency and adequacy of which <br /> are hereby acknowledged,this Agreement("Agreement")is entered into by and between <br /> Lawrence H. Shackelford Trust("Owner")and the City of Decatur,Illinois,an Illinois municipal <br /> corporation("City"). The parties agree as follows: <br /> 1. Owner agrees to participate in City's Lake Decatur Watershed Protection("Program")for <br /> soil erosion control,nutrient management and water quality improvements for property they own <br /> located in Macon,County,Illinois more particularly described as <br /> Parcel IV The Northwest'/of the Southeast 1/4 EXCEPT the West 120 feet of the South 363 <br /> feet thereof EXCEPT ALSO the West 290 feet of the East 600 feet of the South 200 feet <br /> thereof ALSO the South 2 of the Southwest'/4 of the North East''/4,ALSO the Northwest''/.of <br /> the Southwest 1/4 of the Northeast%;ALSO the East'/4 of the South East 1/4 of the North West <br /> %;ALSO the North East'/4 of the North East%of the South West''/.all in Section 34, <br /> Township 17 North,Range 3 East of the 3'd PM,situated in Macon County,Illinois. <br /> and hereinafter referred to as"Property." <br /> 2. Subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement,Owner shall plan,install and <br /> complete all construction and projects on the Property as set forth in Exhibit 1,attached hereto <br /> and incorporated by reference,including but not limited to all land adjustments,conservation <br /> projects,cropping,and management projects hereinafter referred to collectively as"Project." <br /> 1 of 6 <br />
