RESOLUTION NO. R2oal.-95 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PAYMENT UNDER AN AGREEMENT <br /> FOR TECHNICAL PLANNING SERVICES BETWEEN <br /> THE DECATUR URBAN AREA TRANSPORTATION STUDY(DUATS) <br /> AND THE CHAMPAIGN COUNTY REGIONAL PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> WHEREAS,the Decatur Urban Area Transportation Study (DUATS) is the federally <br /> designated Metropolitan Planning Organization(MPO) for the Decatur urbanized area; and, <br /> WHEREAS, DUATS has entered into an Agreement with the Champaign County <br /> Regional Planning Commission for the development of a Comprehensive Bus Stop <br /> Assessment, attached hereto as Exhibit A; and, <br /> WHEREAS, as fiscal agent, the City of Decatur is required to initially make payments <br /> under the Agreement on behalf of DUATS; and, <br /> WHEREAS, such expenditures are eligible for reimbursement through state <br /> transportation planning funds administered to DUATS. <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. The City of Decatur, as fiscal agent for DUATS, is authorized to make <br /> payments in accordance with the Agreement between DUATS and the Champaign County <br /> Regional Planning Commission. <br /> Section 2. The City shall seek reimbursement for all eligible costs through applicable <br /> DUATS funding sources. <br /> Section 3.
