ECONOMIC AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT <br /> No. 2026-39 <br /> May 11, 2026 <br /> TO: Mayor Julie Moore Wolfe and City Council Members <br /> FROM: Melissa Hon, City Manager <br /> Lacie Elzy, Director of Economic and Community Development <br /> Miranda Lambert, Assistant Director of Economic and Community <br /> Development <br /> SUBJECT: Resolution Receiving and Filing the 2025 Official Zoning Map <br /> SUMMARY RECOMMENDATION: Staff is transmitting the 2025 Official Zoning <br /> Map to City Council for publication by the City Clerk, as required by the Illinois <br /> Municipal Code (65 ILCS 5/11-13-19). <br /> BACKGROUND: The Official Zoning Map is updated annually to incorporate all <br /> zoning and boundary changes approved through December 31, 2025. A printed copy will <br /> be available for review prior to the meeting, or upon request from the City Clerk. Due to <br /> its size, the digital version of the zoning map can be accessed on the City's "Maps" <br /> webpage: <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTIONS: Staff is not aware of objections. <br /> STAFF REFERENCE: Should the City Council have any questions; they may contact <br /> Lacie Elzy at 217-542-3559 or lelzy@decaturil.gov, or Miranda Lambert at 217-859- <br /> 2406 or mlambert@decaturil.gov. <br /> BUDGET/TIME IMPLICATIONS: None. <br />
