RESOLUTION NO. V. <br /> RESOLUTION TO APPROPRIATE MOTOR FUEL TAX FUNDS <br /> FOR LOCAL PUBLIC AGENCY GENERAL MAINTENANCE <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF DECATUR,ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That there is hereby appropriated the sum of$875,000.00 of Motor Fuel Tax funds <br /> for the purpose of traffic signal maintenance.the purchase of concrete for street maintenance,the <br /> purchase of road salt, the purchase of asphalt for street maintenance. and traffic striping for the City <br /> of Decatur, Illinois, from January 1, 2026. to December 31, 2026. <br /> Section 2. That traffic signal maintenance, the purchase of concrete for street maintenance. <br /> the purchase of road salt, the purchase of asphalt for street maintenance,traffic striping. and <br /> operations as listed and described on the Municipal Estimate of Maintenance Costs, including <br /> supplemental or revised estimates approved in connection with this resolution, are eligible for <br /> maintenance with Motor Fuel Tax funds during the period as specified above. <br /> Section 3. That the Clerk shall, as soon as three(3)months after the close of the period as <br /> given above,submit to the Department of Transportation on forms furnished by said Department, a <br /> certified statement showing expenditures from and balances remaining in the account(s)for this <br /> period: and <br /> Section 4. That the Mayor shall execute, and the Clerk shall immediately transmit two <br /> certified copies of original BLR 14222 forms. attached hereto as Exhibit A and made a part hereof, <br /> and transmit with two certified copies of this resolution to the district office of the Department of <br /> Transportation, at Effingham, Illinois. <br /> PRESENTED and ADOPTED this 15th day of June 2026. <br /> QL,t/1/43Z'i <br /> JULIE MOORE WOLFE.
